Elevate your practice with PRAXIS

WHO I AM

My name is Sarah and my journey with movement began at a young age through ballet, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for body awareness and grace. At 16, I discovered Pilates at my local YMCA, and it quickly became a lifelong passion. The method’s focus on control and precision felt like a natural extension of my ballet training, and I knew I had found something special.

I pursued my classical training at Power Pilates in New York City where I learned the foundational principles that continue to guide my teaching today. Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching a variety of Pilates styles, blending classical techniques with modern approaches to meet the unique needs of my clients.

To stay at the forefront of my practice, I continue to deepen my knowledge through private sessions with master trainers Jerome Weinberg, Jordana Herman, and Michael Johnson. Their mentorship allows me to refine my technique and bring fresh insights into each session I teach.

WHAT I DO

Praxis embodies a continuous cycle of theory, action, and reflection, which is central to how I approach Pilates. It begins with understanding the principles behind each movement (theory), applying them with intention during practice (action), and then evaluating the experience to see what can be improved (reflection). This reflection refines both your understanding and your movement, allowing each session to build on the last. It’s through this ongoing process of refinement that true mastery and deeper self-awareness are achieved, making progress a lifelong journey rather than a final destination.

My goal is always to create a positive movement experience that enhances the mind-body connection. I look forward to helping you find strength, alignment, and joy in movement through the transformative power of Pilates.
